Kid’s Camp -- Have a Herbalicious Week
Let your child(ren) –8-12 year olds get back to the basics of the earth and nature’s goodness by discovering the phenomenal quality of herbs at Quiet Creek Herb Farm. To start off the week, your child will learn how to identify herb plants by their interesting smell and texture, make bars of herbal soap, stir-up herbal bread and butter, concoct herbal salves, papermaking, and learn how to worm compost. Each day your child will be ready to celebrate his/her success by enjoying an herbal picnic with their new friends. Each day he/she will take home an herbal gift and know-how. Be sure kids are dressed according the weather. Teachers: Claire and Rusty Orner Class Fee: $100 June 14-18(9-2 p.m.). Pack a healthy lunch and water bottle. Healthy snacks provided.
